Central Nexus Thermal Camera Project GalleryBelow are some pictures that I took with my camera. Combined picture of thermal and visual images of a water heater. Notice how the drain spout and thermostat are very warm. The insulation around the top of the water heater and the walls are cooler.
Combined picture of thermal and visual images of a front door. Notice how the windows, door and cement are warmer than the stucco walls, gravel area to the lower right, the plants. The bright spot in the upper left is the sun coming over the roof. The picture was taken in the morning of a winter.
Combined picture of thermal and visual images of a front door. Notice how the sidewalk and cement are warmer than the stucco walls and door. The home has air conditioning, which is why the door is a little cool. The picture indicates that the door is leaking cool air. The picture was taken in the afternoon of a hot summer. The streaking was probably due to the bright daylight and reflections within the sensor and other objects.

Combined picture of thermal and visual images of a front door. As you can see, the camera doesn't do that well for close ups because the thermal scan and the video camera have significant height differences. The door knob and dead bolt are warm, and the stucco and wood are cooler. The picture was taken in the morning.
